At our school, we are dedicated to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, and we expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.

To support this, we have a Safeguarding and Child Protection Policy, along with procedures in place. All staff—whether they are permanent, temporary, volunteers, or governors—need to be familiar with these procedures. If we have concerns about a child's well-being, we may need to share information and work with other agencies. We always aim to discuss our concerns with the child’s parents or carers first, unless we believe that doing so would not be in the child's best interest.
