The ‘General Data Protection Regulation’ (GDPR) changes how we can use your personal data and keep it safe, and also strengthens your rights over your own data. Whilst it is similar to the Data Protection Act that it replaces in many ways, there are some differences which will mean a few changes at school and on our website in order to ensure we remain compliant. Data related requests. The school will be closed for the summer holidays on the dates published. Any data related requests received in the summer holidays will be actioned upon our return.” Therefore, if a subject access request is received when the School is closed for summer holidays, the School can action it upon their return, the time period will start from the first day back to school.
