Week 1

On Tuesday morning, Reception Class went to investigate the frost and ice on the school field.

Gardening Club

Today, we made bird feeders for our outside area. I wonder what hungry birds will visit our garden?

Other Faiths Week: We have been learning about Hinduism. We made a Diwali candle holder (Diya), Mehndi and Rangoli patterns. We tasted onion bhaji’s and had our own Holi festival.

Naisha and her mum shared some interesting facts about their faith, 'Hinduism' with us today.

Week 4

We have had an amazing start to the week! First, we walked to the postbox and posted our letters to our learning partners.

People that help us

Then, Nurse Lucy and Sarah came to visit our classroom. We had great fun! We found out how nurses help their patients keep safe and well.

Week 5

Stay and Play - Making Christmas decorations. 

Reception Class has got the festive feeling.

Week 6

This week the children have made their own Bambinellis. Father Patrick will bless them at Mass this weekend.

Nativity

We have been working so hard this week rehearsing for our Christmas Nativity. The children are busy learning their lines and songs and we can't wait to perform to you next week. A gentle reminder that costumes do need to be in by the end of this week.
