At St Anne’s, we believe that learning goes beyond the classroom. We are proud to offer a range of wider learning opportunities to help children develop their interests, talents, and skills.

Through a variety of activities, clubs, trips, and special events, we aim to enrich the curriculum and give children experiences that build confidence, teamwork, and independence.

Some of the opportunities we provide include:

  • Educational Visits and Trips – Bringing learning to life through visits to museums, theatres, local landmarks, and places of worship.
  • After-School Clubs – Offering activities such as sports, art, music, drama, coding, and more.
  • Visitors and Workshops – Welcoming authors, artists, musicians, and community groups to share their knowledge and skills.
  • Outdoor Learning – Making use of our outdoor spaces for learning across subjects and promoting care for the environment.
  • Leadership Opportunities – Giving children the chance to take on roles of responsibility, such as One World Council representatives, Mini Vinnies, and Play Leaders.
  • Performances and Celebrations – Encouraging creativity and confidence through assemblies, concerts, and school productions.
  • Charity and Community Work – Helping children understand the importance of compassion, service, and contributing to the wider world.

These opportunities help our children to develop into well-rounded individuals, ready to face new challenges and discover their passions.

At St Anne’s, learning is an exciting journey — inside and outside the classroom
