Are you a Year 5 student who is self-isolating in Spring 2, 2021? Here is your work!

You should complete the following work whilst you are self-isolating:

- minimum 1 Maths lesson per day

- minimum 1 English writing lesson per day

- 1 reading or grammar lesson per day for 6 days and own reading on the other days

- RE for 2 hrs 30 mins per week

- PE/physical exercise for at least 2 hours per week

- Other subjects - at least 1 session per week

Christmas

Read Matthew 1: 18-2: 23 – The Birth of Jesus

Identify who in the Christmas stories faced a challenge or difficulty.

Zoom in on one figure in the Christmas story and list the problems/challenges s/he faced.

Now, write a diary entry/letter from that individual.  It must include:

- that individual's involvement in the Christmas story (what they did, where they were etc.)

- the problems/challenges they faced

- their thoughts and fears at different points

- their reflections on the birth of Jesus
